Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Quet is made to make your mornings calmer, not to collect data about you. There’s no account, nothing is tracked and there are no ads in the app. Below you can read exactly what Quet does with your data.
Who we are
Quet is made by Kydlan Online (Dutch Chamber of Commerce no. 76519708), the Netherlands. Questions about privacy can be sent to quet@kydlan.nl.
What stays on your iPhone
Quet keeps everything on your own iPhone:
- the first name you enter
- your alarms, sleep schedule, bedtimes and settings
- your morning routine and what you check off
- your mornings: when your alarm went off, how long you stayed off your phone and your check-in ("How are you starting your day?")
This data isn’t sent to us. We can’t see it.
A copy in your own iCloud
So you get your history back on a new iPhone, Quet keeps a copy of the data above in your own iCloud account (Apple’s key-value storage). That copy is stored under your Apple ID; we have no access to it. If you’re not signed in to iCloud, everything stays on your phone only. Apple handles iCloud data according to Apple’s privacy policy.
Apple Health
If you connect Apple Health, Quet only reads your sleep data (asleep and in bed) to show how long you actually slept. Quet writes nothing to Apple Health, doesn’t send this data anywhere and never uses it for advertising or marketing. You can revoke access anytime in the Health app.
Screen Time
To lock apps, Quet uses Apple’s Screen Time. Which apps you pick and which apps you use is handled by iOS itself: Quet only gets unreadable references and can’t see which apps you use. None of this leaves your phone.
Alarms and notifications
Your alarms, notifications and Live Activities are scheduled on your iPhone itself, through Apple. Nothing goes through our servers.
Subscriptions
You pay through Apple; Quet never sees your payment details or your name. To keep track of whether your subscription is active, Quet uses the service RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., United States) as a processor. For this, RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous user ID, details about your purchases (which subscription, when, country and currency) and technical details about your device and the app. This is needed to make the subscription work. Data transferred to the United States is protected by the safeguards required by European privacy law. See also RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
What Quet doesn’t do
- no account, no email address needed
- no analytics or tracking services, no ads
- no selling or sharing of data
Deleting your data
In the app, choose Settings → Erase everything: everything is removed from your phone and the copy in your iCloud. Deleting the app only removes what’s on your phone. You cancel your subscription in your App Store settings.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and you can object. Because we don’t store any data about you ourselves, you can handle most of this directly in the app. For questions, email us. If you have a complaint, you can contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the data protection authority in your country.
Changes
If we change this policy, the new version will be on this page, with the date at the top. For major changes, we’ll also let you know in the app.
